900MHz RFID / Sub-1 GHz Troubleshooting Tool
If you have a 900 MHz RFID portal or system, you need this inexpensive troubleshooting tool as a quick way determine if your system is radiating a signal from the antenna. To test, simply hold card up to the antenna and check for the LED light. Worth the cost in time savings alone.
Use the 900MHz RFID Troubleshooting Tool to test your Gen II RFID portal / system and determine if it is radiating a signal from the antenna. Technicians and users around the world (including the US government who created the acronym RATS for the card) use these cards to troubleshoot and verify their RFID systems. These tools are also great for setting up your race timing system.
Sub-1 GHz Radio Output
Check to see if your sub-1 GHz radio is radiating a signal. You'll need a radio that is putting out more than 500 mWatts and the tool should be almost touching the antenna when the radio is transmitting. This is great for IOT systems that us the 900 mHZ band,
LoRa / LPWAN / Wi-Fi HaLow / IOT
If you want to use the tool to check to see if your LoRa device is radiating power, the effectiveness will depend on the output of your radio. Since the max LoRa / LPWAN output is .5 watts and the minimum output can be much lower, many LoRa radios put out levels that are to low for this device to detect. Wi-Fi HaLow has a max transmit power of 1 Watt, but many applications will use lower power and our device may not be able to detect the radio output. Check your radio specifications before ordering. If your radio is radiating less that 350 mWatts in the 900 mHz band then we won't be able to detect the signal. If you radio is radiating > 350 mWatts and < than 500 mWatts then we recommend testing for your application.

To test a portal, just hold the card up to the antenna. If the antenna is radiating power the LED lights up. Only intended for use in testing the output of the antenna. Does not detect the presence of RFID tags.
Requires no batteries - Powered by the signal radiating from the portal.
The detector works with UHF RFID signals only. Depending on the power output of the RFID portal, the detector must be held within 2 inches to 2 feet from the antenna. Systems under 500 milliwatts are not recommended for use with this card.
The card works with all 900MHZ RFID systems around the world with a power above 500 milliwatts.
Custom: - We provide privately labeled versions with your logo and company colors. These are a great way to provide added value to your customers and create a revenue stream for you. Quantity discounts are available.
